Delta Marine signed a ship design contract for the design and engineering services of two units of 24000 DWT General Cargo Ship with Sefine Shipyard. The contract includes basic design, post production, engineering management and advanced engineering services. The vessels are to be designed as single, screw single deck, shallow draught units and they will able to make trade at worldwide level for carriage of general cargoes, steel coil, coal, grain, dangerous good, etc. The yard is scheduled to begin production in the first quarter of 2012.
